Our mission
We want finding a great place for the evening to take seconds, not hours of scrolling maps and reviews. We're launching in Kielce and steadily adding more Polish cities, building a map of places worth visiting - together with their owners.
We start on home turf
Vinkiel is built by a team from Kielce, which is exactly why we start here. Instead of going nationwide right away, we first perfect the app in our own backyard - a city we know inside out. Once we've shown it works, we'll calmly roll out to more cities.
Where the name Vinkiel comes from
The name has a double meaning. „Kiel” is a nod to Kielce - the city where we start. „Winkiel”, in turn, is a Silesian word for a corner or angle, and „za winklem” means „just around the corner”. Our founder was born in Silesia, so the name ties together two places close to us - and that's exactly what Vinkiel does: it shows what's worth your time just around the corner.
